How to Care for Your Moroccan Textiles

Moroccan handmade textiles are incredibly durable — some family rugs are passed down for a hundred years or more. But they do require mindful care to stay beautiful.

Rugs & Carpets

Vacuum weekly from the back side to remove dust without stressing the pile. Rotate your rug every 6 months to ensure even wear. Spot clean with cold water and a small amount of gentle soap.

Wool Care

Wool is naturally self-cleaning and resistant to dirt. Airing your wool textiles outside on a dry, breezy day will refresh them naturally. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade natural dyes.
