Handira Wedding Blanket

The Handira is a ceremonial blanket traditionally crafted by Berber women as a wedding gift. Woven from a combination of sheep's wool, cotton, and adorned with hundreds of hand-sewn metallic sequins that catch and scatter light beautifully, the Handira is used as a wrap, wall hanging, or bed cover. Ours are made in the Zayan region and carry the full weight of that tradition.
