Vintage Azilal Rug

The Azilal rug originates from the Azilal province in the High Atlas and is one of Morocco's most celebrated rug styles. Unlike the structured geometry of Beni Ourain, Azilal rugs feature loose, expressive, almost childlike drawings woven in vibrant colors on a white or cream wool base. This piece captures that spirit — spontaneous, joyful, and full of life. A genuine conversation starter.
